Legal Services Commissioner at Bond University

Queensland Legal Services Commissioner Mrs Megan Mahon and Senior Investigator Ms Thea Johnson addressed law students and academics at Bond University during February.

The students are currently enrolled in the Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice (PLT) and will soon be applying for admission into the legal profession.

Commissioner Mahon and Ms Johnson spoke about the role of the Legal Services Commission as a regulator of the legal profession in Queensland. They also addressed the legal and ethical obligations of legal practitioners in their dealings with their clients, colleagues and the public.

It was an insightful and informative session that was very well received by all in attendance.650733
