Headline issues
Some issues that arise in the course of the Commission's work stand out as deserving our special attention. Some of them arise directly in the course of our work and, given our particular responsibilities for monitoring and enforcing standards of conduct in the delivery of legal services, call out for us to give them priority. Others of them arise less directly but demand our attention nonetheless, in joint efforts with other legal services stakeholders - most notably the disproportionately large number of lawyers and law students who suffer psychological ill-health and depression and, at this point in time, the National Legal Profession Reform Project.
